Caucus at Waverly-Shell Rock High School

About 450 Republicans from the Waverly area gathered at Waverly-Shell Rock High School to caucus for their preference for their party's nomination for president to face President Barack Obama.

Overall, the county went with former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney by 31 votes, while statewide, Romney outlasted former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum by a scant eight votes, the smallest margin in U.S. presidential primary history.
